1st Annual Firefighters Mud Rodeo

Goals for this event:

  • Public Education: Demonstrate firefighter duties and build community support.
  • Recruitment & Retention: Attract new volunteers and retain current members.
  • Inter-Department Cooperation: Build relationships and familiarity between departments.

We invite the public to come and watch and/or join in the fun!

This is an annual event on the 3rd weekend of September.

Campaign free zone. There will be NO political campaigning at this event.

Two local 501 (c) 3 Non-Profit organizations are co-hosting this event.

Will perform fire tactics, drills, and what they have to do on an incident.

"Old Geezer"

For the firefighter who has become a dinosaur. Despite their difficulties, the old geezers will take part using wheelchairs, scooters, walkers, and similar aids. Prepare for a laugh so intense, you might experience some leakage.
